Week #4 Keeping up with Algorithms

Ultimately, while good software programs are absolutely integral to the evolution, sustainability, and overall efficiency of search engine optimization, what I've concluded this week was that it all comes down to content. A good quantity of good quality content is the backbone of search results and recommendations. With programs such as Panda, Hummingbird, Rankbrain, it is much easier to weed out irrelevant or poor quality content, while using keywords/phrases to bring in more relevant results while at the same time keeping out all the fluff. The importance of these programs and the purpose they serve cannot be overstated, as Google on very regular basis, each update serving a specific purpose.

When I Googled boosting SEO with content, I was slammed with arrays of lists, just list after list from different site, including but not limited to: MTU, SingleBrain, Semrush, and Search Engine Journal. If a common denominator could be pinpointed in the haystack made of all these lists, was content related. Just as the common theme has been in the class thus far, content is overwhelmingly at the forefront, of ways to improve SEO. Another very common theme was improving user experience, such as faster loading speeds.
